Learning objectives
- Understand common genomics data formats: FASTA, FASTQ, GTF, BED, SAM/BAM.
- Learn how to create the folder structure for the computational project and navigate it.
- Learn how to explore, parse and manipulate data files using common Linux commands wget, ls, man, more, wc, zcat, cat, head, tail, grep, cut, sort, uniq, tr.

- The CRG course “Intro to basic Linux commands”.
